External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS)

Advanced exterior thermal insulation solutions for both new and existing structures.

Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) or External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) is a non-load bearing, exterior wall cladding system that consists of an insulation board either Mineral Wool or Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) attached either adhesively or mechanically, or both, to the substrate; an integrally reinforced base coat; and a textured protective finish coat. Exterior Insulation Finish System can be simply defined as an envelope done over the external facades of the building that offers excellent thermal resistance and improves the energy efficiency of the building. Caparol is first company in Europe to introduce the system in the market back in late 50’s. The system is not limited to the external facades but it can be used for internal soffits of car park where the energy is lost through the floor.

ETICS System A – MW (Mineral Wool)

CapaTect ETICS system A – MW uses mineral wool as the insulation core which provides Class A fire protection. It provides highest mechanical stability under extreme temperatures.
